Hello, my name is Promise and I like pie.

Sweet. Now that THAT is out of the way.

I’m actually super abashed that you’ve chosen my tiny corner of the Internet to bring your face, your energy, and your humor to share it with me. It’s going to be a good time, I Promise.

This is going to be a safe haven. It will be very diverse and inclusive. Here, we will protect and nurture you. We will bring you joy. We will make you laugh. If I’ve done my job and been a good friend, you will grow, just a little. Just a very little bit.

So what is coming next?

Well, I’m spending this month learning about all the writer tools that have cropped up since I did this last, and hoo nelly, there are so many. I’ve chosen to go with CampireWriting to streamline my book outline, character profiles, timelines, etc. I’m also drafting my novelette details there. Last summer, the Muses bit me hard on my tushy, and I’ve been inspired with both a new novel and six short stories! I also already have another book idea. Sheesh. So I will be spending the month of May writing my positive masculinity book,  The Bonsai Bodyguard, with an aim to release it by November of this year. I hope to post all my short stories on Kindle Vella, and we’ll see how well they do and if the story merits growth.

And of course, my website being built is huge, as it’s the bookshop, cuddle pile, warm cup of something for all of us to give us shelter from all the *waves hands and whispers* Reality going on out there.
